Chris Jackson, Chairman

Chris returned to service as a Board Director in January 2016. Chris also served as one of the charter Board Members in 2006, where he served faithfully for 4 years. Since 2006, Chris has served on various Board committees. In addition, he and his wife Karen have helped numerous married couples enrich and even restore their marriage through mentoring in their local church.

Chris graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1983 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He has been employed in the Oil and Gas business for 24 years working for various public companies as an engineer or manager prior to starting Talon Oil & Gas LLC in 2007 with several long term work associates.  Chris currently works with Talon Oil & Gas LLC as Technical Adviser.  He and Karen have been married for 35 years. They are blessed with two children and three grandchildren.   Chris' hobbies include golf, fishing, hunting and spending time with family.  He and Karen are members of Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Carrollton, TX.

Keith Ashmuhs, Vice Chair

Keith's involvement with Strong Marriages began in 2008, when he and his wife Carol first became Marriage Mentors in their local church. Keith has served faithfully on the Board of Directors since 2013, in addition to serving on the ministry's Fundraising Committee since 2008. 

A business veteran with more than 38 years’ experience, Keith retired after 21 years at AT&T in all levels of Sales and Sales Operations, serving as Assistant Vice President – Global Sales Enablement. His organization provided Custom Design, Price, Proposals, Contracts and Executive Negotiators for business customers. 

As AVP, Keith was responsible for the following presales organizations: Custom Solutions Center, US Offer Development, National Pricing Center, The Proposal Center, Voice Maintenance Renewal Team, Custom Contract Development and The Executive Negotiation Team. They provide custom support for sales teams across the world to design, price, propose, contract and negotiate sales opportunities to meet customer requirements.

Toni Montgomery, Secretary

Wytonia Montgomery has been a board member since 2012. She has been married to Ron for over 40 years. They have three adult children; two sons (James and George) and a daughter (Sydnie). Toni, as she is commonly called, loves her family. She has faithfully served, along with Ron, in Marriage Ministry since 1999.  Her strong belief in Christ and biblical marriage has been the driver behind her desire to strengthen the marriages in the body of Christ.

Toni’s career, in education, has spanned four decades. Thirty of those years were served in the Dallas Independent School District.  She has earned several degrees: a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Masters in Special Education and a Mid-Management Principal certification, to cite a few of her major accomplishments. Toni has served in many different areas in the field of education. She has been a general and special education teacher, teacher trainer, technologist, staff developer, and administrator.  Toni brings all her experience, from teaching, to her work as a board member of Strong Marriages.

Toni loves the Word of God and applies its principles as she serves at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, TX. She and Ron serve as the Marriage Mentors' Couples coordinator since 2007. 

Paul Webb

Paul is a charter member of Strong Marriages' Board of Directors.  He and his wife Susan, have been active supporters of the ministry from its inception, having first been introduced to Dewey and Lynne Wilson through a small group in their local church.   As the ministry grew to a nationwide §501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Paul was instrumental in its growth, through his skills as an attorney.

Paul is a licensed Texas attorney for 23-years and a shareholder with Quilling Selander in downtown Dallas, Texas.   He manages the commercial real estate and intellectual property groups at the firm, on a national scale.  The firm’s 100 lawyers, paralegals, and staff represent clients in all areas of business litigation, banking and lending, real estate, bankruptcy, and corporate law, to name a few.  The firm has enjoyed representing Strong Marriages in all matters since its inception, along with other non-profit clients. 

The Webbs have two teenagers at home, a boy and a girl, and remain active in their local church – Emerald Bay Community Church in Bullard, Texas.  Paul leads the weekly men’s Bible study and adult forum Sunday school classes for the church, helping to chart the family’s course through a tumultuous world with Biblical Principles at heart.  These same guiding principles help Paul keep the ministry on course as well.  The Webbs often enjoy their second home in Durango, Colorado, where they attend the First United Methodist Church of Durango.

Greg Kidd

Greg began serving as a Board Director in January 2016. He, and his wife Shelly have faithful supported Strong Marriages since 2006.

Greg has been an actively involved in the family’s businesses in East Texas area since 1980. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Citizen State Bank. He has been married to his wife Shelly for 29 years. They have two daughters, Ashley (Kidd) Conley and Chelsea Kidd. He is a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church and has lived in Plano since 2004.

Scott Charbonneau

Scott began serving on Strong Marriages Board of Directors in January 2016. He and his wife, Kellie have been married 14yrs. They have three children Keeton, Kyle and Kendall.

Scott is employed by Guidestone Financial Services, where he serves as the Director of Customer Service. Scott's wife Kellie serves as the Preschool Pastor at First Baptist Church in Hurst, TX.

With a passion to see families thrive in Gods design, they together give leadership and direction to the Strong Marriage ministry as Ministry Coordinators in addition to serving in various other marriage ministries within the church.

Mark Meyer

Mark began serving on Strong Marriages Board of Directors in January 2016. He and his wife Peri have been long time friends and faithful supporters of the ministry since 2006, along with serving as trained marriage mentors.

Mark’s family moved to Dallas in 1970. He obtained a BA Marketing degree from Texas Lutheran University while on a football scholarship. Mark and his wife Peri live in Coppell, Texas and are a blended family with 5 children between them. They are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church and are involved in multiple ministries as well as the National MS Society. They enjoy traveling and scuba diving to go along with Mark's unique passion for fishing in exotic locations. 

Mark has been a Commercial Real Estate Broker since 1985. He is currently employed by Henry S. Miller Brokerage in Dallas, TX with an emphasis on Corporate Real Estate opportunities.

Over the years, Mark has enjoyed connecting individuals and corporations alike to the ministry of Strong Marriages.  

Siu (Joe) Tjoe

Joe begin serving on the Strong Marriages Board of Directors in 2017.  He and his wife, Judy will be celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary in July, 2017. They have a daughter who is a guidance counselor and teacher at a Christian School in Atlanta. They are members of Perimeter Church in Atlanta, GA where Joe is an elder and Judy is Women's Discipleship leader with Bible Study Fellowship. Together they give leadership and direction to Strong Marriages ministry at Perimeter Church as Ministry Coordinators as well as serving as one of the marriage mentors.

Joe is a National Account Consultant for Travelers Insurance Company in the Risk Control Division. 

Joe has 44 years of experience in safety management consulting from a variety of industries including manufacturing, printing, telecommunications, healthcare, hospitality, food/beverage processing and distribution, retail, financial and business services.

Joe is a Certified Safety Professional and an Associate in Loss Control Management.  He maintains a professional membership with the American Society of Safety Engineers.    Joe earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in May, 1971 from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS
